BODY IMAGE
The world we live in doesn't make feeling good in our bodies easy. From a very young age, we're fed messages about how we should look, eat, dress, exercise - messages which only get more confusing in an age of social media. We're constantly confronted with images of idealised bodies, workout plans or diets, which are often unrealistic or unattainable given our particular genes or circumstances. But that doesn't stop us feeling like we're somehow falling short of what we could be.

Although struggling with body image is very common (whatever your gender), we don't often get to talk about it. The trouble is, not talking about it usually only strengthens any shame or self-consciousness we feel around our bodies, making us feel more alone.

This is a group for open discussion about all things body image. It's for anyone who sometimes has difficult body image days, and would like to have a better relationship with their body - that's the only requirement for coming along.
